Fees - Temples, Museums, etc

Museums, Temples - apx 1,500 - 3,000Rp (up to 50c)
Donation to above - apx 5,000Rp (AUD80c)

Tipping - not expected, but waiting staff are poorly paid, tips of 2,000-3,000 Rp are acceptable for good service

Tipping at airport (porters) - just give your $2 Aussie Gold Coin, or up to 5,000Rp, these guys are sneaky and will try and fool you into paying heaps.. and you don't even need them.. you can carry your own bags the whole 5 steps from baggage collection to "outside"... but the sneaky buggers will try and pick up your bags anyway, and even if they just pick it up, they will immediately ask for a tip. It's a crap way to start a foreign holiday but hopefully you will now be prepared.
